Tchia, a bright and sunny New Caledonian adventure indie game, is set to be the first day one PS Plus Extra exclusive since Stray

We are sure some of you were debating whether gathering the Tchia trophies were for you, now you've got no excuse. Tchia will launch on March 21st, 2023 on PS5 and PS4 straight into PS Plus Extra as a day one exclusive, a great sign for one of our top-billed PlayStation Indies.

Tchia joins Stray as a day one indie on PS Plus

Tchia is one of your most highly anticipated indies, and — to make life exciting — Sony has just announced at the latest State of Play that the New Caledonian adventure will join PS Plus Extra's new games in March 2023. The game releases on March 21st, 2023 on PS5 and PS4 — so in line with the other games coming in the month.

We have had two other Day One exclusives. Everyone was collecting those Stray trophies when that cat-venture dropped into PS Plus Extra last year — Sean even gave us a glowing Stray review. It became a bit of a sensation, in no small part because it's a rarity and so many people suddenly had access to it.

The other Day One exclusive is the incredibly memorable — I'm sure you'll all agree — hunt to KO all the Divine Knockout trophies when that came to PS Plus Essential last year. This brawler barely got started as it came along with month after month of online live-service games trying to recoup audiences — Day One couldn't help it manage a Fall Guys-like an explosion.

Anyway! What do you think of Tchia's looks so far? We are really excited and desperately hope it makes a case for our best indie games list. Now, get in the comments and we will see you there!
