Forspoken PS5 patch shows devs are 'committed' to tackling criticism

By Sean Lawson,

Forspoken is getting a lot of flak since its launch, yet this doesn't seem to have deterred the devs from remaining committed to the game. A patch is in the works for PS5 as we speak.

It seems Forspoken has not managed to impress the masses with the game garnering a lukewarm reception on release, though we spoke positively of it in our Forspoken review. Regardless, the devs appear committed to the cause and are even working on a PS5 patch for Forspoken that should clear up many technical issues fans have stumbled upon.

The Forspoken devs remain 'committed' and take onboard the criticism

The PlayStation Chart shows that Forspoken has yet to even make it into the top ten most played games of a singular week. Currently, Forspoken sits at 11th place and we are unsure if it's going to be able to push any higher than that. Despite what looks to be a subpar launch, the director of Forspoken, Takeshi Aramaki, took to Twitter to reassure fans who are enjoying the game that they are still working on making Forspoken the best it possibly can be.

"We've been listening to all your feedback and are hard at work on an upcoming patch that will include improvements to overall performance, graphics, playability, and general updates and fixes to the game content across PS5 and various PC hardware configurations.

"We are committed to making Forspoken the most enjoyable experience possible and will provide an update about the timing of the next patch as soon as possible."
