Pinball FX trophies tilt away from unique table challenges on PS5, PS4 By Lee Brady, 08 Feb 2023 FollowtopicsPinball FXZen StudiosTrophy ListPlayStation 5Lee Brady Pinball FX trophies for PS5 and PS4 have arrived ahead of the next instalment in the beloved Zen Pinball series, which will launch on February 16th, 2023. The new game will reboot the series with new features and a lot of changes. As fans have come to expect, the new Pinball FX trophies have arrived without a platinum trophy — though that's hardly going to stop pinball wizards from diving into this hotly anticipated upcoming 2023 game for PS5 and PS4. This soft reboot for the Zen Pinball series will feature 10 trophies at launch, but don't get your hopes up for individual Pinball FX table trophies just yet.Pinball FX trophies are rolling this way!Reaching out to developer Zen Studio, we've learned that game will be moving the lengthy list of individual table trophies you've come to expect from the series into the main game's challenges itself. So that means unless something changes down the line, don't expect an influx of bronze trophies for every new table that gets added to the game.Given the game will launch with revolving seasonal challenges for its tables, we suspect these rotating objectives played a large part in doing away with the long list of bronze DLC trophies. This might mean collecting bronzes count towards earning the gold Collect Them All trophy, in which case this might actually make for a sturdier challenge than usual. We've reached out to Zen again in hopes they can fill us in on their plans.Borderlands is one of the new IP coming to Pinball FX at launch.Pinball FX has dramatically shifted the series onto Unreal Engine, with the pros being an easier turnaround between launching new tables and some truly stellar lighting effects. The cons, unfortunately, is that your prized pinball table collection — which will still be available in Pinball FX3 alongside those individual table bronzes — won't transfer to the new game for free like with past instalments. So, some hits and some misses, but there really is no beating Pinball FX when it comes to getting your digital pinball fix. Trying to earn 1,000,000,000 points on one of the Star Wars tables to earn the Nine Zeroes trophy will likely still consume most of my 2023 — for the rest of the pinball challenges ahead, see the full Pinball FX trophy list below.Pinball FX trophy listName Description Contender Post a score in any official event!
