Resident Evil 2 (2019)

When Resident Evil 2 was remastered in 2019 by Capcom, it was a revelation. It turned a classic franchise into a modern masterpiece while keeping everything that made the original so great. With another Remake in the form of Resident Evil 4 coming out soon, it seems sensible that getting this out the door on Plus might raise hype. EA did something similar with Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order ahead of its sequel last month, so it would be no surprise for the PS5 and PS4 game to find its way onto the PS Plus list.

Subnautica Below Zero

Subnautica Below Zero is also the inverse of RE2. The original game came to PS Plus and found a really good size audience. Now that the sequel, Below Zero, has been out for a while the developer might see it fit to release it into PS Plus to collect the paycheck. With no third game in the series announced yet, we think that this is the least likely of our three. Even so, it'd be an incredible game for the service to land.

salt and sacrificeSalt & Sacrifice, is it a shoo in?

Salt & Sacrifice

Salt and Sacrifice, much like Axiom Verge 2, is of indie classic heritage. However, it struggled to find the same audience as the original same — Salt and Sanctuary. Staff Writer Lee calls this one underrated, so it should find its niche if it does eventually hit the service. Indeed, we know Sony pays out to get games on board, so perhaps the indie team will excitedly lock down a third in the series with the PS Plus paycheck!

Those are our three picks. If you have any suggestions, I'd love to see you guys in the comments! Let us know down there, and see you in the mix!
