Dive into the hardest Forspoken trophies that you need to keep an eye on By Sean Lawson, 25 Jan 2023 FollowtopicsForspokenSquare EnixPlayStation 5Sean Lawson The Forspoken trophy list is vast, with 54 trophies waiting for you to mop up as you make your way through the lands of Athia. We thought it would be helpful to be aware of the more tricky and time-consuming trophies. It's time to get snatching those Forspoken trophies and to help you out we've curated a list of the hardest PS5 trophies in Forspoken, this way you can focus your efforts effectively. You can check out our thoughts on the game in our Forspoken review or you can see what the easiest Forspoken trophies look like in comparison to this list.A look into the hardest Forspoken trophiesThe hardest Forspoken trophiesThe hardest Forspoken trophiesCollectable-based trophiesDetour-related trophiesMiscellanious trophiesBugged or incorrect trophiesCollectable-based trophiesNearly every trophy in this collectable category is hidden, which means there will be a lot of trophy spoilers in this section. If that is an issue for you, feel free to skip ahead to a section that won't spoil as many Forspoken trophies. You can reveal the details of the secret trophies using (this link). The Forspoken collectable trophies will see you exploring every corner of the vast world Athia offers up. This is where you'll be putting in the majority of your time to try and earn the platinum trophy 'Forspoken.' You'll need to collect and discover nearly every landmark that you can come across, with a few exceptions here and there. You can completely bypass all the Mutants, Pilgrim's Refuges, and Belfry Towers — however, the latter two are pretty useful in a lot of situations, so it's recommended to grab these when you see them. You need to grab every Fount of Blessing to unlock 'Call of the Fount: Beautified,' which is also needed for 'Paragon,' that asks you to unlock every spell. The Fount of Blessings will grant you 12 additional spells that you can't unlock with Mana — however, you need 3200 Mana points to purchase every other spell for the trophy 'Realized Potential.' It gets a tad confusing, but just unlock every spell that you possibly can and you'll earn three trophies in doing so. Forspoken has a lot of collectables, like a lot, a lot.'Kit and Caboodle' requires you to find every single equipable item in the game (Cloaks, Nails, and Necklaces). These are found in the Locked Labyrinths, at various landmarks, by defeating Abominations, and from crafting. This is a massive chore, not because of its difficulty, but because it is such a big time sink. There are 70 equipable items in total with 25 Cloaks, 30 Nails, and 15 Necklaces. Equipable items that are obtained via sub-quests are not required for this trophy (according to said trophy), but you can miss two necklaces in side-quests from Johedy that occur during chapter seven and chapter ten. I can confirm that I unlocked this trophy despite missing the necklace earned in chapter seven — proving this trophy is not missable. The rest of these trophies will come from finding every single Tanta Familiar, finding 50 of the 54 Monuments, completing all 20 Flashback Challenges, discovering over 100 points of interest, and unlocking 80% of the in-game lore. As we said, none of this is hard and it can all be done after the main story is finished. There is no need to worry about missing things, it's just a long and monotonous grind to the platinum. Frey will be doing a few odd jobs for the people of Cipal... and the catsDetour-related trophiesNow, we have two of the more taxing side-quest-related trophies on our hands. 'Happy Snapper' is a cheeky little collectable trophy disguised as a sweet side-quest. Don't be fooled, this is one annoying little bugger that is going to take until the main story has finished before you can even dream of finishing it up. You'll need to travel all around Athia and find 50 photo spots — most of which are in incredibly tricky and annoying locations. You'll need all of your traversal spells unlocked to be able to reach all the random locations these photo opportunities are found in.'Moves' might be the most infuriating side-quest in Forspoken. Square Enix has crafted one of the most difficult challenges that I personally faced in Forspoken — an unfair rhythm game. Normally, I am all for these types of games, in fact, I adore a good rhythm game. Yet, Forspoken's is not only tedious, but it's also downright playing against you. The side-quest takes place over three separate missions, each one getting progressively more difficult. The prompts will pop up and vanish off screen so quickly that you barely have enough time to register what you just saw before Frey stumbles around awkwardly bringing the mission to an abrupt end. Thankfully the prompts don't change and you can memorise each one as they come, it's the only way to actually beat this, as the timer is far too quick otherwise. You'll be failing this mission a lot before you see success, we hope your memory game is on point as it's going to need to be.Name Description Happy Snapper Show pictures taken at all the photo spots to the children. Moves Earn the praise of the mighty Pilo with your dancing. A bit of crafting and abomination hunting. You know, just fun things.Miscellanious trophiesSpoilers ahead for the next two trophies that are both hidden on the Forspoken trophy list. One trophy is for crafting a few items, while the other is about facing down some difficult bosses that appear after you finish the main story.'Craftperson' will be obtainable once you reach Inner Visoria and have the needed spells to traverse the mountain and reach the little shop of curiosities. I won't spoil the surprise, but once there you'll be able to purchase a Sewing Kit for 64 Old Coins. You can find Old Coins in chests littered around Athia and tucked away in sneaky little areas of Cipal. Once you have the sewing kit, it will allow you to create a Cloak and a Necklace if you have the right materials. These two equipable items are also needed for the previously mentioned trophy 'Kit and Caboodle.'Get ready for some insane and tedious parkouring!'Abominizer' tasks you with beating four abominations that spawn around the lands of Athia after the main story concludes. These fights can be tricky if you haven't levelled yourself up by increasing your stats at monuments and so on. If you are feeling ready for a good old brawl, then you can find these abominations in the following places: Mount Garrison (Praenost), Nowhere (Junoon), The Moulderings (Avoalet), and South Plateau (Visoria). Use Cuff to scan each boss and find out what magic each one is weak to as this will make the fights far easier. The location of Nowhere — which can be found in Junoon — is one of the most frustrating and difficult areas to reach. You'll need every single one of your traversal abilities to even stand a chance of making it through this treacherous journey. While the path is steep, fiddly, and a platforming nightmare, you will also have to endure a Break Storm halfway through your climb. This makes seeing platforms and where to parkour next a real hassle. Don't feel bad if this section takes you a while to get through, I fell to my doom multiple times, spending around half an hour trying to make it through this ordeal.Name Description Hidden Trophy Continue playing to unlock this trophy. Oh no, a bugged trophy!Bugged or incorrect trophiesOur last escapade centres around the trophy 'Above and Beyond,' which asks you to upgrade all 105 of your spells. To do this, you'll need to access the bookcases that are found in the many Pilgrim's Refuges and then select the skills you want to upgrade. You can only upgrade three spells at a time which adds an extra element of tedium to your Forspoken playthrough. To upgrade a spell you will need to complete the required task which can range from defeating a certain number of enemies with the spell or taking down enemies who are vulnerable to that specific magic etc. One spell, Tempest Lvl 2, appears to be bugged or has the entirely wrong description attached to it. Allegedly you simply need to defeat the final enemy in a battle with the Tempest Surge magic, however; despite meeting this requirement on multiple occasions I have not been able to upgrade the spell. Interestingly enough, the trophy is sitting at 0.1% on PSN, which leads me to believe that the trophy is obtainable, but the description is completely wrong and some lucky bugger has managed to accomplish the task unknowingly.Name Description Above and Beyond Upgrade all your spells.
