Forspoken trophies officially drop with time consuming platinum

The Forspoken trophies have officially scanned in for the PS5 exclusive RPG. The Square Enix game has a simple, albeit time-consuming, platinum trophy to snatch up. Here is a guide to the trophy list before you start playing.

The Forspoken trophies are finally here, there are 54 trophies: one platinum, two gold, seven silver, and 44 bronze, 30 of which are hidden (to reveal the details of the secret trophies, please use this link). While attending a hands-on preview event for Forspoken, we got a little taste of the trophy list and the crazy antics we would be getting up to. With the Forspoken trophy list revealed, we thought a guide to the trophies and the difficulty of the platinum trophy using the preview information was in order.

The Forspoken trophies look deliciously simple — but could this be deception?

The Forspoken trophies should be an easy platinum

To the relief of many gamers out there, Forspoken will not contain any difficulty-related trophies, allowing you to have a much easier time snapping up the platinum — something that we can all be thankful for. Difficulty-related trophies are becoming less of the norm these days, just look at the God of War Ragnarok and Marvel's Midnight Suns trophies which have completely vetoed these pesky trophies. Both of those games got into the best PS5 games list, and if Forspoken can also follow suit in game quality, maybe the RPG will be there too.

While difficulty trophies won't be rearing their ugly heads, collectable trophies are still present in Forspoken. You can expect to be exploring this huge open world and completing all the different dungeons, finding all the monuments, diving into all the fountains, and facing off against beasties to unlock a plethora of trophies. You will also need to find 80% of all archive entries for a gold trophy. One hidden bronze trophy asks you to unlock every single spell Frey can utilise — with there being easily over 100 total spells to unlock, this could be a slow one to earn.

Forspoken wants you to see every spell that the game has to offer!

Most games in this day and age have some form of miscellaneous trophies nestled in the list, and Forspoken is no exception. Playing Forspoken during the preview event, I was able to unlock a variety of random trophies during combat and while exploring the world. One of these was simply holding down the circle button and continuously parkouring for 20 seconds — an incredibly easy trophy to earn when you level up your stamina. There appears to be an influx of these trophies, from setting up a campsite to spending your first Mana point. There should be lots of quick and easy trophies to earn on your journey through Athia.

Lastly, the Forspoken trophy list is comprised of your standard story-related trophies, side quest trophies, and combat-based trophies — these are the trophies you pretty much expect to come across in almost any trophy list you view. Expect to unlock trophies for reaching the end of each chapter, using X amount of spells X amount of times, and finishing up various side quests that NPCs are more than happy to pawn off on you. Nothing abnormal or difficult to be seen here.

After seeing the trophies, we can see that you should expect an easy but time-consuming platinum trophy, with the main hindrance being the collectables, amassing all the spells, and just exploring the world of Athia. None of the Forspoken trophies appeared to be missable, which is an added bonus to this simple trophy list.
