Sony's PlayStation Studios output is looking a little dry over the coming year, but 2023 is still supposed to see the release of Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The game will feature Venom and we finally have a new detail. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is on the way from PlayStation Studios' own Insomniac. We know Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will release in 2023, but very few details are known. However, now we know that the villain Venom has no regard for how men feel about Spider-Man. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is letting Venom loose in 2023 We have a Spider-Man game on each of the best PS4 games and best PS5 games list, but if Venom is as devilish as voice actor Tony Todd said on a podcast with Deeper Depths (video below via Spider-Man news) then there might be a new contender in town with the sequel. "You know the scene in Miles Morales where they're chasing Rhino? They are smashing through windows, you don't know what's going to happen, and there's glass falling down on you? That's what it's going to be like! "Venom doesn't play, man," Todd goes on to say. "Venom doesn't give a damn. He don't give a damn who the damn game is named after! Because I am you, and you are me," he quips at the end, a famous Venom-ism. "It's incredible. What they do with the landscape and the sky and the images of New York and the acrobatics and movement... it's just insane." https://youtu.be/UnZqpmlEPJ4?t=1871 It has been quiet since the reveal trailer in 2021, with a few details dribbling out including that the game is still on track for that 2023 release window. With it sounding like Venom literally doesn't care about the boundaries set by the Spider-Man name, we cannot wait to get involved with the black alien goo. Let's hope its better than the two films with Mr Venom in, shall we? How dare they ruin Tom Hardy like that... See you in the comments!
