Ed Boon loves to meme on his loyal fanbase... and we are here for it.Ed Boon teases Netherealm's next project will be either Mortal Kombat 12 or Injustice 3While hosting a Q&A on Twitter — one that Boon jokingly said would cost $8 — Boon was asked an onslaught of questions from the fanbase eager for some news on either the Mortal Kombat series or the Injustice series. We can already assume that the next game announced from NetherRealm will be Mortal Kombat 12 or Injustice 3, the studio's two biggest IPs and the two games in dire need of a new instalment. Despite knowing this, Boon couldn't help but meme a fan's question for a "hint" to the next game.Responding to Twitter user GuiLeena who asked: "hint for the next game?" Boon swiftly said: "I3 or MK12," shutting down the question in typical Ed Boon fashion. We gained no information from the tweet that we weren't already aware of and Boon knows this. So, we are right back to where we started, twiddling our thumbs until NetherRealm announces either a new Injustice or Mortal Kombat game, and we don't how much longer we can keep waiting to find out.
