However, we know Naughty Dog is working tirelessly on a standalone multiplayer game that will be far more than just a follow-up to the beloved Factions multiplayer mode. Howard joined Naughty Dog as a principal monetization designer and started work in November 2022, according to his LinkedIn profile. It is not confirmed that Howard is actually working on the new The Last of Us multiplayer title, yet it would be highly unlikely to also think that he isn't considering his expertise and previous projects that he has worked on for Epic Games — such as Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League.Ellie obliterating her competition!
