Sonic Frontiers trophies want you to explore all of Starfall Islands

Sonic Frontiers trophies are live on PS5 and PS4, and it looks like players gunning for the platinum will need to see all of the side missions, find loads of the Koco, and catch a bunch of fish with Big the Cat.

The Sonic Frontiers trophies have landed, demanding PS5 and PS4 players to clear a local fishing spot with Big the Cat and hunt down the Koco like it's Monster Hunter if they want to take home the "Trophies Completed!" — Sonic Frontier's platinum trophy. Sonic Frontiers has 41 trophies on PlayStation consoles, none of which are hidden.

Glancing over the list, Sonic Frontiers seems to echo Sonic Origins trophies in being somewhat generous. While you will need to complete all the challenges across Starfall Islands, find a hefty 200 Koco, unlock all skills, and view all side stories for Sonic's friends, at least you only have to complete one fishing spot to unlock Angler's Club, or get a single 'S Rank' in Cyber Space to unlock Superior Ranking.

The toughest part will simply be keeping track of all of it! You'll need skill points from beating enemies to unlock Unrivaled Aptitude, which means you'll want the Red Seeds of Power to raise Sonic's power level to max and claim Herculean Hedgehog, which ultimately means you're going to want the map revealed early on by completing challenges and earning trophies like Kronos Island Explorer. That's quite a long to-do list!

Finding all 200 Koco locations in Sonic Frontiers could be a bit of a time sink.

Still, at least it's not a slog like the trophies for Sonic Unleashed — more of a trophy hunter's vacation like playing one of the key inspirations behind Sonic Frontier's moveset, Sonic Mania.
