PlayStation Plus game trials are one of Sony's lesser-known Premium tier features, allowing players to pick and play various games before they splash the cash and purchase the full title. Unfortunately, not every PlayStation game has a trial, but the ones that do allow PlayStation users to experience a game for a specified amount of time, get to grips with the gameplay, delve into the story, and earn a trophy or two.

Latest PS Plus Trial Update

Following the recent additions of the Miasma Chroincles, Pixel Ripped 1978, and Mr. Run and Jump, you can now access a trial for Persha and the Magic Labyrinth Arabian Nyaights. This trial is only available to those who are on PS5, meaning PS4 players can not access it. The trial is exactly one hour long and will give you a taste of the gameplay (that looks reminiscent of Candy Crush) and see how hard the trophies are. Currently, the game sits with a rating of 3.09 out of 5 stars on the PS Store from 32 player votes.

With PS Plus Premium, you can now trial a respectable 90 games across PS5 and PS4.

What are Game Trials on PS Plus Premium?

The PS Plus trials give players between one and five hours of playtime on a select few PS5 and PS4 games. Currently, there are 90 game trials for you to try. During this time players can drop in and out of the game and the timer will freeze, meaning you won't miss out if you can't play through the whole trial in one sitting. Trophy hunters rejoice as you can even earn trophies as you play, so all that hard work will be kept if you decide to purchase the full game. You can see the full list of games down below!
