Medieval Battlefield game Mordhau is finally raiding PS5, PS4

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,

Mordhau is a massive medieval battle game that takes place in first-person. Much like Chivalry, the 64-player hack-'n-slash found popularity on PC and will have Battlefield series fans drooling when it arrives on PS5 and PS4 soon.

Mordhau is coming to PS5 and PS4 soon, fans of medieval combat will be pleased to know. The first-person, 64-player, hack-'n-slash game has large-scale warfare with plenty of technical guile required to find success and will appeal to fans of the Battlefield series and Chivalry 2.

Mordhau will give you a more technical medieval combat experience than Chivalry 2

Mordhau will finally make its way to PlayStation consoles soon. Released in 2019 on PC, Mordhau has been absent from the console as developer Triternion took its time with the port. As we know from Mordhau's original medieval combat brethren Chivalry, getting the controls right takes time and supporting the PC space until there is a solid foundation in place is always a wise move.

Mordhau is a little more technical with its one-to-one combat compared to Chivalry, but still has a scope reminiscent of Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 in Rush modes. It has a loyal audience on PC, so there are already plenty of tips to be found around the internet own if you are thinking of getting prepared. Or, indeed, if you want to learn a few bangers to play on the lute as you roam the battlefield (yes, really).
