God of War Ragnarok art book filled with Santa Monica secrets and lore

By Lee Brady,

God of War Ragnarok is getting a 240-page art book filled with Santa Monica secrets and lore. The book will feature Norse mythology deep dives, dev insights and exclusive concept art when it hits shelves on November 28th, 2022.

God of War Ragnarok may well be due another leak in the near future, but if the game’s massive 240-page art book is any indication of content, then the upcoming PS5 and PS4 adventure should still have plenty of surprises to spare by the time its release date comes about. The God of War Ragnarok art book is filled with Santa Monica secrets and lore, and if the scalpers lay off, it’ll be in our hands just after the game has launched in November.

God of War Ragnarok art book features interviews from Santa Monica devs

god of war art bookThe book debuted with some fabulous new art for God of War Ragnarok.

The book, which has been written by The Art of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge writer Amy Ratcliffe, is set to feature exclusive comments and interviews from Santa Monica staff. While it’s doubtful the book will spill the beans on the behind-the-scene happenings that saw the June 2022 rumours turn into a mini internet riot, at least we’re likely to learn a little more about what it takes to develop a AAA PlayStation Studios title.

We’ve learned so much about God of War Ragnarok already, including its PS5 exclusive features, but diving a little deeper into the game world’s lore sounds like a great way to enhance the experience of travelling the world with Kratos and Atreus. Let us know if you’re thinking about picking up the book when it goes on sale in the comments below!
