Sniper Elite 5 new DLC hinted at by single trophy reveal

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,

A Sniper Elite 5 DLC trophy has just been picked up by our scanners for an expansion called Landing Force. Though the pack has not yet been revealed, this will be a new campaign level for the PS5 and PS4 game.

We have just picked up the Landing Force DLC as a part of the Sniper Elite 5 trophies. As of yet, this new piece of Sniper Elite 5 DLC has not been formally revealed.

This is an interesting one, a trophy was added to Sniper Elite 5 for a DLC pack called Landing Force. It was also spotted on Steam a while ago and was noted in the recent 1.21 update as now being supported. The trophy itself is a solo entry, which is odd, and will be unlocked simply for finishing the mission. A PlayStation Store listing (thanks Shadow_Kisuragi) has also been found. The listing reads:

"Enemy forces have commandeered an island off the coast of Marseille to house a gargantuan gun battery. The vast island is a hive of Nazi activity and features docks, lighthouse and a ruined keep as well as the huge gun emplacement which must be destroyed in order to help the Allied Landing Force liberate Southern France. To aid in your mission you will be able to equip a new stealthy D.L. Carbine rifle and powerful PPSH Submachine gun."

Both guns and the campaign mission will be included for a price of $14.99. It looks like this is the DLC set for a formal announcement later today, as alluded to by a Sniper Elite tweet. The tweet points to a Twitch stream going live on Tuesday 26th, at 7:00 BST.
