Stranger of Paradise DLC trophies usher in the original Final Fantasy

By Lee Brady,

Trials of the Dragon King, the first DLC expansion to Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, will reward you for confronting the Warriors of Light and embarking on the original Final Fantasy.

Trials of the Dragon King main story content picks up where Stranger of Paradise left off — which, as it so happens, is roughly where 1987's original Final Fantasy picks up. The trailer depicts the Warriors of Light from the original game rocking in at last, and if you've finished the base game's main campaign, you can take them on in a scene that connects Stranger of Paradise to the entry that started it all.
The bulk of the trophies will unlock as you play the new DLC story, but there are also trophies for equipping the newly added staff weapon, and unlocking the evoker job, so you'll want to do some extra activities to complete this new trophy list. Mercifully, the new Bahamut difficult does not net you a trophy, so don't feel you need to take this on while enjoying the new DLC.

There are 12 trophies, 4 of which are hidden (to reveal the details of the secret trophies, please use this link).
