Popular PlayStation Games — July 11th, 2022 By Kes Eylers-Stephenson, 11 Jul 2022 FollowtopicsKes Eylers-Stephenson While Fall Guys dominates at the top of the chart, the PS Plus games for July have dropped and are occupying two places on the chart with the third conspicuously absent. These are the most popular PS5 and PS4 games. Fall Guys' player count continues to soar, but really it's the PlayStation Plus games for July 2022 that are the big talking point in the chart this week.Crash Bandicoot is a verypopular PS Plus game right nowThe top bracket feels very familiar to last week, with only a little switcheroo for FIFA 22 and Fortnite, from second to third and third to second. Interestingly, both saw a 3% drop-off in player count but with Fortnite's playground being lower it lost fewer players overall. That being said, there is like a 0.3% margin between the two, so there is plenty of competition left to go. The Fall Guys trophies have people hopping back in and it is way in front at the moment, scraping 20% more players than FIFA 22.Starting up the PS Plus proceedings is Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time in fourth. That is a huge debut for the nearly impossible to platinum game, outperforming even the mighty Elden Ring. However, the other two games have made one of the smallest splashes we have ever seen. Man of Medan is in 23rd — a truly pitiable position not helped by the fact it is also on the Extra games list — and the final game, Arcadegeddeon, hasn't even qualified for the top 100 games this month. Oh, dear. There are a few fun swaps on the chart, too. Ghost of Tsushima has trounced Horizon Forbidden West to 13th. Unfortunately, of the PlayStation Studios games on the list, that leaves Gran Turismo 7 struggling to find traction in 16th — something we wouldn't have expected even a few weeks ago. It was performing strong week-on-week, but now it feels like it is slowly slipping away. The more impressive car-related performance is the debut of The Crew 2 thanks to a big update that pushes it into 35th.
