Cult favourite PSP game leaked for PS Plus Classics collection

PlayStation Plus has been adding PSP games through its Classic Catalogue included in the Premium tier. PlayStation Store has leaked the inclusion of LocoRoco Midnight Carnival for PS5 and PS4 — a fan favourite from Studio Japan.

The PlayStation Plus Premium games currently only have one PSP game, Super Stardust Delta from Housemarque, but another might have been unveiled via a PlayStation Store listing. Joining the leaked Ridge Racer 2 in the missing list is the legendary LocoRoco Midnight Carnival.

PS5, PS4 had better prime for some LocoRoco action through PS Plus

LocoRoco should be coming to PS5, PS4 through PS Plus Classic Catalogue

ResetEra found a PlayStation Store listing for LocoRoco Midnight Carnival, a classic PSP game that followed LocoRoco and LocoRoco 2 on PSP as a digital-only title during the fabled era of the PSP Go (RIP in peace). Given that this was on the official store, though it is now delisted, this is pretty much a nailed-on for the Classics Catalogue — though we don't yet know which month it will be included.

Given this listing only contained the Halloween-themed third entry that has been stranded on PSP for so long — and that LocoRoco and LocoRoco 2 remastered, with LocoRoco Cocoreccho! from PS3 are already in the Classics Catalogue — the addition seems inevitable. Adding entire collections of games alongside remaster is something Sony has been keen on doing in Plus with certain legacy titles, like Return to Arkham Collection, the Devil May Cry HD Collection, and so on.
