PS Plus Extra, Premium leaks Assassin’s Creed, FF7 Remake for July By Lee Brady, 08 Jul 2022 FollowtopicsFinal Fantasy VII RemakeSquare EnixLee Brady If a rumour is to be believed, PS Plus Extra and Premium members will be in for a treat this month as a bunch of Assassin’s Creed games, Final Fantasy 7 Remake and more join the service. With July being the first full month following the worldwide rollout of the new PS Plus subscription tiers, it seems we’re on the cusp of a brand-new PlayStation tradition to go alongside the regular PS Plus monthly games leak: PS Plus Extra and Premium leaks. New games are expected to join the service in the middle of each month, but those who prefer to get their PS4 and PS5 news as soon as possible will always look forward to a pre-launch leak.PS Plus Extra and Premium new arrivals leak for July 2022Arno and Cloud just two among many broody men potentially joining PS Plus this month. Our first monthly games leak comes courtesy of ResetEra member BlackBate, whose previous leaks gave us a heads up on the Skull and Bones relaunch, as well as the existence of Death Stranding Director’s Cut before its official announcement. As always, take the following with a pinch of salt, but these are hardly the most outlandish of predictions. The games reportedly coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium for July are:StrayFinal Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (with Episode Intermission DLC)Saints Row 4 Re-ElectedAssassin’s Creed 4 Black FlagAssassin’s Creed Freedom CryAssassin’s Creed UnityAssassin’s Creed Rogue RemasteredAssassin’s Creed 2*Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood*Assassin’s Creed Revelations**as part of Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection. With Ubisoft contributing big hitters like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 5 to the service already, it seems perfectly believable that the publisher would also commit older Assassin’s Creed titles. Meanwhile, Square Enix had previously committed a chunk of Final Fantasy games to PlayStation Now, so having the glossy PS5 re-release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake join the service would just be a furthering of that trend.Saints Row 4 joining the remastered Saints Row 3 that’s already on the service will come as good news to new fans who want to finish the original run of the series before the impending reboot later this year. Of course, for the vast majority of us, we’ll be too busy sinking our claws into the new indie darling Stray to even think about running for office as a superhero president in Saints Row.What are your thoughts on the leak? Thinking of going back and grabbing those Assassin’s Creed 2 trophies? Or, let’s be real, thinking about Stray? Yeah you are, let’s not kid ourselves, it’s got a cat in it, we’re all thinking about it. Tell us about your Stray thoughts down below.More FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE stories: Play the best action RPGs on PS5 and PS4 right now (July 2023) Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth devs keep telling us not to play FF7 Remake Best PlayStation games — from PS3 to PS5 and everything between (2023) Final Fantasy VII PS5, PS4 spin-off rating reaffirms winter 2022 drop Popular PlayStation Games — July 24th, 2022 PlayStation Plus Written by Lee BradyStaff Writer Lee keeps one eye on the future (Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth), one eye on the past (PS Plus Premium, recent Sony news), and his secret third eye on the junk he really likes (Sonic Superstars, Final Fantasy XVI).
