PlayStation Gameplay Chart: Resident Evil triple scare doesn't find top 10 By Kes Eylers-Stephenson, 20 Jun 2022 FollowtopicsKes Eylers-Stephenson FIFA 22, Fortnite, Call of Duty, Elden Ring, GTA V, and Apex might still be the most played PlayStation games this week, but Resident Evil is still making moves. Meanwhile, PS Plus games are slipping. Thanks to the re-release of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 on PS5 with a free update, all three have made it onto the chart. Here is the top 40 PlayStation Gameplay Chart for the week ending June 19th, 2022.Most played games on PlayStation (w/e June 19th, 2022)PositionGamePublisherLast week1 FIFA 22Electronic Arts12 FortniteEpic Games23 Call of Duty: Modern WarfareActivision54 Elden RingBandai Namco Entertainment45 Grand Theft Auto VRockstar Games66 Apex LegendsElectronic Arts77 Rocket LeaguePsyonix108 Destiny 2Activision89 MinecraftMojang Studios910 Horizon Forbidden WestSony Interactive Entertainment1111 Nickelodeon All-Star BrawlGameMill Entertainment312 Genshin ImpactmiHoYo1213 Resident Evil 2Capcom Entertainment-14 Gran Turismo 7Sony Interactive Entertainment1415 Dead by Daylight 1/23goo1516 NBA 2K222K Sports1817 Overwatch: Origins EditionBlizzard Entertainment2018 Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six SiegeUbisoft2119 Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout (2020)Devolver Digital1920 Call of Duty: VanguardSony Interactive Entertainment1621 God of WarSony Interactive Entertainment Europe1722 Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi StrikerBandai Namco Entertainment1323 Resident Evil 3Capcom Entertainment-24 Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles MoralesSony Interactive EntertainmentRE25 Red Dead Redemption 2Rockstar Games2426 Assassin's Creed ValhallaUbisoft2827 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's RevengeLimited Run Games-28 Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarActivision2229 Battlefield 2042Electronic Arts2330 Ghost of TsushimaSony Interactive Entertainment2631 ReturnalSony Interactive EntertainmentRE32 Resident Evil 7: BiohazardCapcom EntertainmentRE33 LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker SagaWarner Bros. Chart information is copyright TrueGaming Network. So, yes, nothing has really changed between FIFA 22, Fortnite, and Elden Ring at the top, with only Call of Duty shuffling more than one space up the chart. But don't fear! The failure of the Nickolodeon All-Star Brawl trophies to keep everyone hooked on the PlayStation Plus brawler has pushed everything up a bit. The game lost 50% of players from its third-place finish last week, but — in fairness — that was going to be hard to sustain. Instead, we will see where it ends up next week. Then: so much Resident Evil. We have the new PS5 version of the Resident Evil 2 trophies (and accompanying game) settling at a very impressive 13th. Then we have the last Resident Evil 3 bringing home 23rd place. While it would have been relegated from the football league, in this instance it is a solid finish. Surprisingly, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard brings up the rear in 32nd, marginally being beaten out by Returnal. With all of these games hitting big for a second time, we are curious how many will stay around next week. Final Fantasy 7 Remake has boosted into the chart, though not far up it in 39th. However, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has also managed to hit a good old 37th with its comrade Marvel's Spider-Man rocking well above at 24th. We love the debut of Shredder's Revenge on 27th, though. It has some delicious trophies, too! What do you think of the list this week?
