Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II gameplay a return to form

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II just got a gameplay trailer ahead of its release this year on PS5 and PS4. The level playthrough was shown at Summer Game Fest, and it looks very slick and tactical.

Activision and Infinity Ward just showcased some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II campaign gameplay. The sequel to 2019's Modern Warfare looked like it took some tactical notes as a raid on an oil rig takes place...

Apparently, this uses specific water tech, and there are plenty of special gunplay upgrades that aim to make it more dynamic and emergent. The campaign trailer shows Task Force 141 in full flight, raiding an oil rig to stop a missile attack. There is a bit of everything you expect really, but it does get us excited. Warzone 2.0 was heavily teased in the post-trailer chat, which indicated that it would be able to more easily roll out updates. Plenty more is coming, and we will update you when we hear more.
