This would be the director's first full horror game, following the success of the hit teaser PT on PS4.Insider Tom Henderson, writing for Try Hard Guides, has claimed he has seen early footage of the new Kojima horror game. Though the source is reliable, nothing is yet confirmed so keep your salt handy. Metal Gear Solid, Death Stranding... Overdose?Henderson states that Death Stranding 2 is not what he saw, though Death Stranding's Mama actress Margaret Qualley did apparently feature in the footage. From a third-person perspective, whatever Henderson saw features Qualley in a blue dress, walking down dark corridors with a flashlight. Overdose apparently also has a first-person perspective. "A Hideo Kojima Game… OVERDOSE" reportedly appears after footage of a jump scare and a Game Over screen. For our two cents, Overdose could be an iteration on Kojima's PT, which was his teaser for Konami's Silent Hills reboot which was cancelled. As an added twist, Henderson tweeted that Kojima Productions got in contact and asked for his article to be removed. Henderson and Try Hard Guides have declined to do so. Kojima and Microsoft were apparently brokering a publishing deal for a game (TA link), so this could be that game. With Kojima and Geoff Keighley being buddies, it could be a Summer Game Fest Live joint. Thoughts on this?
