By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,

PlayStation has announced that a State of Play will be coming our way with updates on third-party games as well as the PS VR2 games that are currently in development. It currently clocks in at 30 minutes.

Over on PlayStation Blog, a new State of Play has been announced for Thursday, June 2nd. It will contain PlayStation VR2 updates, as well as numerous third-party reveals.

When is the next State of Play?

state of play announcement

The next State of Play will be on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022. You will be able to watch on Twitch or on a YouTube stream which opens on 3pm PST / 6pm EST / 12:00am CET. It will run for 30 minutes and features "exciting reveals from our third-party partners, plus a sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2."

That probably means no God of War: Ragnarök in this one, but here is hoping that we get some Horizon: Call of the Mountain news. It could be that we get a PS VR2 release date here, but we suspect that Sony will withhold that for as long as possible so that they can guarantee their supply will be ready. We also wonder if this is where we will see Final Fantasy XVI!

What do you think could show up? Let us know in the comments below, yeah?
