PS Plus includes trials for Cyberpunk 2077, Forbidden West, and more

Sony has now revealed a "selection" of games coming to its revamped PS Plus service. It has also confirmed which game trials will be included in the Premium tier.

As announced over on PlayStation Blog, Sony says the time-limited game trial benefit for PlayStation Plus Premium allows you to "try select games before you buy." After downloading a trial of a full game, Sony notes that you'll be able to play it for two hours, though this could change depending on the title. The trial will also only count time that you're actually spending in the game.

Can you unlock trophies in PS Plus game trials?

On the topic of trophies, Sony says that "any trophies and game save data from the trial period will carry forward if you purchase the game," so it sounds like you will be able to earn trophies, but they'll only pop as soon as you launch the game after you've purchased it, which is similar to how previous PS5 trials operated.

Sony also announced its initial lineup of games included with PS Plus, confirmed that Ubisoft+ Classics are also coming to the service, and what's happening with PS1, PS2, and PSP games included with the subscription.
