New PlayStation Plus games lineup announced

Sony has just announced the games lineup for PlayStation Plus. At the new Extra tier, there is going to be an abundance of PS4 and PS5 games, while Premium has access to PS3, PSP, and PS1 games.

It's finally here! In a PlayStation Blog post, Sony has announced some of the games that will be coming to the all-new PlayStation Plus service. No fluff here, let's just jump in.

New PS Plus games included in library

PlayStation Plus Essential will get you online access and two monthly games, one less than you are currently getting. PlayStation Plus Extra will get you the PS4 and PS5 games. Premium will get you the PS1, PS3 (streaming only), and PSP games included on the list. There are no PS2 games as of yet. The Blog post notes that "An additional monthly refresh will occur in the middle of each month with new games across the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. The number of games refreshed will vary per month."

This is every single game announced for the new PlayStation Plus library at launch. Note that this might not be all of the 400+ games touted originally, as the post notes that it is just "a selection of the content" available in the PS4, PS5, and Classic game lineup.
