MiHoYo, the developer behind mega-hit Genshin Impact, has released a new trailer and website announcing its new game Zenless Zone Zero. The game looks to be a dual-character collector with a sci-fi setting.

MiHoYo has released a website and a trailer (embedded below) for its new character collectathon, Zenless Zone Zero. While no platforms or release date have been given, the developer had huge success with Genshin Impact on PlayStation.

MiHoYo releases new Zenless Zone Zero trailer

What on earth is going on in this trailer? It gives us a look at the types of characters the developers have created as well as their shadow selves, something described on the website as "dual identities, two opposing personas." The descriptions go on to say that Zenless Zone Zero is a "story of the last metropolis: Welcome to New Eridu. Behind seemingly peaceful streets, Proxies operate in a warped reality. Take on commissions and traverse between Hollows. Explore Hollows with your squad, fighting through changing labyrinths. Seek the truth in your pursuit of hope. Discover various factions, uncover a conspiracy."

MiHoYo is recruiting for a Zenless Zone Zero Tuning Test on its website now. There is no news on when the test starts. At the moment, this is PC and iOS only, however, the developers say: "We'll continue to expand the available platforms, so stay tuned!" Given how successful Genshin Impact has been on PlayStation, we would be surprised if it didn't come to the platform.
