Naughty Dog "unannounced remake project" is probably The Last of Us on PS5

How many stacks of The Last of Us trophies do you want? Naughty Dog seems to have an "unannounced remake project" in development after it was listed on a QA testers profile, giving further credence to the rumours that The Last of Us is getting a PS5 remake.

The Last of Us news

As spotted by VGC, Naughty Dog quality assurance tester Corey Hong updated his LinkedIn profile. Recently, Horey has worked on Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves and The Last of Us Part II. However, it is the addition of an "unannounced multiplayer project" and "unannounced remake project" that has really caught the eye.

The multiplayer project is clearly The Last of Us: Factions which has been confirmed repeatedly. The second "unannounced remake project" points to the long-rumoured The Last of Us Remastered for PS5. As of yet, we have heard plenty of speculation surrounding the remake, but had no confirmation that the project was being worked on by anyone inside the PlayStation Studio.

Now it just appears to be a matter of when it releases — which might be by the end of this year according to a recent tease from a PlayStation Visual Arts employee. What do you think of the news? Will you be playing The Last of Us again on PS5? Think it's one of the best PS3 games? Let us know in the comments!
