Apex Legends' next Legend will be Newcastle

Apex Legends will get Newcastle as a new Legend with Apex Legends: Saviors, which will also introduce a reworked Ranked system and a big change to Storm Point.

So far, all we've been told about Newcastle is that "when a monstrous beast attacks Storm Point, new Legend Newcastle leaps into the fray to protect and inspire his fellow Legends: because that’s what heroes are for." However we will see a full 'Hero reveal' for Newcastle with a new instalment of Stories From the Outlands later this week on April 28th.

A "Downed Beast" lies around the shores of Storm Point, according to the devs, while the reworked Ranked system will "reward teamwork and skill". Apex Legends: Saviors will also bring a new Saviors Battle Pass with daily and weekly challenges and rewards such as Legendary skins.

A recent and sizeable Apex Legends leak has been proven correct in one instance: it guessed that Newcastle would be the first new Legend to join the game. There has been no confirmation either way on the rest of the leak, which purports to reveal content for the game's next nine seasons.

We'll find out more about Newcastle later this week on April 28th.
