No Man's Sky Outlaws update live now

By Heidi Nicholas,
Today No Man's Sky gets another update — its 19th, in fact — which adds solar ships, outlaw stations, a cargo inventory for starships, and more.

Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, says, "Pirates have taken over space stations all across the universe, using them as bases from which to conduct smuggling operations and attacks on neighbouring planets and settlements. Players have a choice: join them as renegades and assist them in their nefarious activities, or take them on head-to-head in the newly rebalanced and dynamic space combat."

You can recruit your own squadron of wingmen and upgrade them as you go, try out a new expedition, and have the opportunity to get yourself a new starship with the new solar class. There's a whole lot more included in the Outlaws update, which you can read about in full over on the No Man's Sky site.

The Outlaws update for No Man's Sky goes live today.

Hey, I'm Heidi! I've just finished studying a Masters in English Literature, but I've been obsessed with gaming since long before then. I began on the PS2 with Spyro, before graduating to the Xbox 360 and disappearing into Skyrim. I'm now a loyal RPG fan, but I still like to explore other genres — when I'm not playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, or being lured back into Red Dead Redemption 2 or The Witcher 3!
