The Quarry looks like an Until Dawn spiritual sequel in new gameplay

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Supermassive Games has just released a new 30-minute gameplay trailer from its upcoming interactive horror title, The Quarry. If you are familiar with the developer's previous PS4 favourite Until Dawn, this new game might ring a few bells.

The recently announced game has been fully showcased in 30 minutes of gameplay posted to IGN. The gameplay features a totally uncut version of the prologue, which sees Laura and Max trying to get to camp at night. This can only end well, right? Wait, is that a spooky house? I'm out, dude.

This is really shaping up to be an Until Dawn spiritual sequel. The campfire-horror vibes are well and truly on show, as is the Resident Evil like camera action and the interactive-horror elements. Hopefully, The Quarry trophies will be as fun as the Until Dawn trophies.

The Quarry releases on June 10th for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Will you be grabbing a copy? Let us know in the comments — you stabby little creatures, you.
