Sony has unveiled PlayStation Now's four new games for April 2022. The lineup includes one of the best games of all time, so ready yourself for some spacefaring.
Outer Wilds
Please, stop whatever you are doing to go and play one of the GOAT: a spacefaring odyssey that is called the Outer Wilds. This glorious adventure features a solar system that you need to explore while solving the mysteries of an alien race that have come to your local territory. As you watch their ship explode above you, you will have 20 minutes to solve a part of the mystery before the sun decimates all life. You fly a little spaceship from one planet to the next, each featuring a unique quirk. One, for example, is falling into a black hole. The level design is innovative, the puzzles enrapturing, and the story delectably complex. Also the the music is truly magnificent. This game is outstanding and a TT all-time favourite video game, plus the Outer Wilds trophies are nice and easy.
WRC 10 FIA World Rally Chanpionship
If nothing else, WRC 10 makes the most of its licence with lovingly authentic Career mode and special 50th-anniversary events. There is a solid collection of cars, and the rallying feels great even on a traditional DualShock 4. While the game struggles to offer the abundance of quality content available in rival titles, like Dirt Rally, and the WRC 10 trophy list features a cheeky little Platinum thanks to a broad variety of things to do. This is a fine racer, indeed.
Journey to the Savage Planet
This funny little adventure is one of the more colourful titles on this month's list. As a member of the fourth most successful interstellar exploration company, you are given one task: find out if planet ARY-26 is ready for humanity. The Journey to the Savage Planet trophies won't take that long to complete at 10-15 hours, so it's worth dipping into even if you are sceptical.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
Sometimes in PlayStation Now a game is offered up that we literally didn't know existed. This week, that game is one that requires you to play as a werebeast in the Pacific Northwest with a fabulous trailer. The action-RPG takes its DNA from the tabletop game and is all about saving the environment in a grizzly way. The Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood trophies will take you ten hours and is incredibly easy. Enjoy!
