Tiny Tina's Wonderlands cross-play support confirmed

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is set for release on March 25th. Thankfully, developer Gearbox has confirmed that the game will have cross-play support and that bringing the same functionality to Borderlands 3 is "inevitable."

Mz. Tiny Tina and her Wonderland (constructed from bullets and cell-shaded bad-asses) will be launching with full cross-play support when it releases so PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players can roll the dice together. Randy Pitchford confirmed the news by thanking Gearbox's Software engineers, publisher 2K, and Sony for ensuring all the stops were pulled out for this one.

In future, the work done for Wonderlands might help you with those lingering Borderlands 3 trophies. Cross-play support was pulled from PS5 and PS4 last year due to certification issues. Pitchford noted in a comment: "The future addition of PlayStation to cross-play for BL3 is now what I would consider to be inevitable."

This is nice, isn't it? Do you have any forlorn mates over on Xbox? Let us know in the comments!
