Fall Guys gets Astro Bot costume

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Did you ever manage to get those five wins in a row to complete the Fall Guys trophies? Well, it might be worth another shot now that the anarchic obstacle course simulator is getting an Astro Bot outfit from Team Asobi's mascot.

Announced over on the PlayStation Blog, Bee Sarafian took the stage for developer Mediatonic to talk about the new outfit. The design here functions to make you feel like your bean is wearing the Astro Bot outfit, as opposed to being the character in question. Bringing the "iconic character" to Fall Guys was seemingly an easy choice for the developers, especially considering that Mediatonic has brought Ratchet & Clank and Aloy to the game before.

In addition, there will be a Sweet Thieves challenge event added to the game. Competing in the event from March 8th until the 13th will net you various Astro-themed items, like an Astro Pattern for 100 Points, Astro Nameplate for 200 Points, Astro Lower Costume for 400 Points, Captain Astro Nickname for 600 Points, Astro Upper Costume for 800 Points, and Astro’s Wave Emote for 1,000 Points.

The bottom bit of the customer is weird, but we enjoy laughing at this stuff on a Monday morning. What do you think of the costume? Let us know in the comments!
