Gran Turismo 7 seemingly pulled from Russia by Sony

Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 7 sounds like it will not be released in Russia in the near future, as Sony appears to have quietly pulled it from the storefront.

Spotted by Eurogamer, the game doesn't appear to be available for sale on the Russian market on launch day, March 4th. The Russian storefront currently reads: "Release date pending confirmation." Without any formal announcement, it appears that Sony is intent on doing this quietly particularly given that the company has not responded to Eurogamer's request for comment.

This news comes after the Ukrainian deputy PM called for PlayStation and Xbox accounts to be banned in Russia. EA has removed teams from Russia as well in a mark of solidarity with Ukraine.
