Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition heading to PlayStation 5 in May

By Tom West,
Endzone - A World Apart: Survivor Edition tasks players with rebuilding civilisation through simulation and strategy gameplay 150 years after a nuclear apocalypse, and it launches on PlayStation 5 on May 19th.

The last surviving humans emerge from bunkers 150 years after a nuclear holocaust destroys the planet. The survivors look to you to lead the last remaining settlement on Earth, so no pressure or anything. You can expect simulation and strategy gameplay with a city building focus, with challenges implemented in the way of violent weather events, aggressive human raiders, and the ever-looming threat of radiation — you'll need to closely monitor the environment's radiation and humidity levels if you hope to grow crops and help your populace survive.

Endzone - A World Apart launched a year ago on Steam and has since garnered a 'Mostly Positive' user rating on the platform from almost 5,000 reviews. Now, the game is heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as a Survivor Edition on May 19th — which includes the main game and the Prosperity expansion.

“While it’s been a long-time desire for us to bring Endzone to console platforms, the UI overhaul required to adapt such a deeply immense strategy game is nothing short of a challenge,” said Stephan Wirth, Gentlymad Studios' co-founder and experience lead. “We’re so excited to share this lovingly created game with new audiences come May, and we sincerely hope players enjoy the experience we’ve crafted for consoles.”
