Gran Turismo 7 breaks street date and trophies leak

Polyphony Digital's upcoming sim-racer Gran Turismo 7 has hit PS5's and PS4's before release on March 4th after Amazon delivered physical options early. Along with that, the Gran Turismo 7 trophies have leaked out.

Gran Turismo 7 has broken its street date thanks to Amazon's early shipping of physical games (thanks GT Planet and PushSquare). While digital owners will be waiting until release on March 4th (though, you can preload the massive file needed to play the game), it seems the physical copies have been delivered widely across the US and UK, with many reports that the game is in transit. Sony is normally tight with the control of its games, so will likely be incredibly unhappy at this mistake. Though at least it isn't a story-driven game so there can be no spoilers out there. The review embargo for the racer is March 2nd, so we will be bringing you our impressions then.

Alongside all of this, the trophies leaked. What they reveal is that you will be playing the game for a long time online and offline, but probably won't have your skill tested too much. The returning licences will probably test you a little, skill dependent, but have never been exceptionally unfair or cruel. By a Country Mile — Won with a lead of 10 seconds or more, in a race of at least two laps

Done in 60 Seconds — Drove a lap of the Tsukuba Circuit in under one minute
Driving for 24 Hours — Drove the length of one complete 24 Hours of Le Mans race: 2,209.538km (1,372.942 miles)
Driving the Angeles Crest Highway — Drove the length of the Angeles Crest Highway (US) — 66 miles (106km)
