PlayStation Plus lineups for March 2022 in Asia and Japan swap Ark Survival Evolved

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
PlayStation Plus' European and American options were revealed yesterday to include Ghostrunner, Ark Survival Evolved, Ghost of Tsushima Legends, and Team Sonic Racing. However, in the Asian and Japanese regions, the listing is changed.

We will see one common thread between both the Asian and Japanese lineups, and that is the removal of Ark Survival Evolved. Instead, in Asia, the beloved Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is set to be offered. Depicting the adventure of two boys through a fantasy world, this is the notable precursor to It Takes Two and A Way Out, though not via the development studio. The co-op platformer was developed by Starbreeze Studios, but the director of the game — the wonderfully exuberant Josef Fares — decided to form his own studio afterwards (called Hazelight) focused on intimate co-op experiences. If you are in Asia and looking to pick this up, then the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons trophies will take you around three hours and are deliciously easy and fun.

Over in Japan, instead of Ark Survival Evolved there will be the PS5 and PS4 game — please excuse me while I copy and paste this in — void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium. So, what is this game of irritating formatting? Well, principally it is about a young woman named Toriko and her robot buddy. You have to help Toriko survive in her terrarium because the world is being overgrown by fungi. In fact, one little bulb popped out through her eye, poor girl. So, the aim is to fight and survive in this odd top-down dungeon-crawler and see if you can make Toriko live comfortably! The Void Terranium trophies are of middling difficulty and will take around 25 hours, if that floats your boat.

Let us know if you would have taken either of these games over Ark, or if you would have rather had Ark if you are in one of these regions! I'll tell you what, Brothers sounds appealing...
