The PlayStation Store currently has two sales available: Planet of the Discounts and Games Under 20. You can see the games for the EU and UK as well as the NA territories on our listings. Last week, we selected a few of the best games for you, but now it's your turn. You guys came through big, so here are the three best and a long list of honourable mentions from our community.
The Doom Slayer Collection
TheMikeSC: Still have to stick with Doom Slayers Collection as one I liked a lot. Well worth it.
The Doom Slayers Collection has a wonderful quadruplet of Doom games for you to play, and we would argue two of them are era-defining first-person shooters. It is bang (bang, bang, die you fool!) for your bloody, demon-infused buck, too. You see, the Doom (2016) trophies will take you 25 hours or so and are nice and easy, the Doom 3 trophies will take you 45 hours and are really stupidly hard, the Doom 2 trophies are equally as hard but will only take you half the time — give or take your skill levels — and the OG Doom trophies are much shorter again, but still just as hard. With all that variation in the challenge for £12.49 or your local equivalent, we have to agree wholeheartedly with TheMikeSC's suggestion.
DOOM Slayers Collection
The DOOM Slayers Collection takes players through more than two decades of demon slaying – from the classic games that popularized the first-person shooter to the fan favorite franchise reboot, wield an arsenal of powerful weapons as you battle demon hordes on Mars, on Earth, and across Hell in four critically acclaimed games: DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 3, and 2016's Action Game of the Year, DOOM (2016).
Get even more out of the DOOM Slayers Collection by joining the Slayers Club, DOOM's official fan club. Once you join the club simply login to DOOM, DOOM II and DOOM 3 with your Bethesda.net account to unlock unique players skins in DOOM Eternal, "one of the best first-person shooters ever." (GameRevolution).
WRC 9
mysticmosh: I wanted WRC9, but was getting put off by the high prices on Amazon. This sale has the deluxe version on PS4 and PS5 for around £15.
WRC 9 is a bit of an odd one since it is only the deluxe version that is available on sale. The rally game has been superseded by a tenth entry since, but this game still holds up just fine. The WRC 9 trophies are going to take you around 20 hours and won't be particularly difficult, though that shouldn't worry you too much because the game underneath is really good fun. Skidding around the mud will look better than ever with the PS5 graphical power, and a lot of the stages the dev team has built are supposedly a good laugh. A great pick up for the money!
428: Shibuya Scramble
ArcticCress: 428: Shibuya Scramble is the best game in the sale and I can't recommend it enough. I have most of what I want from this sale, but I might pick up the Nexomon prequel since I liked playing through Extinction.
The passion in the comments for this one was too much to pass up. In fact, I believe that one person even managed to pull the trigger on a purchase after some fellow TT community members carolled them with positive adjectives about this visual novel. Allegedly, it is of the highest quality with an intriguing and odd little story. It has great reception in Japan and is available on most platforms: the PS3, PS4, and PSP. The 428: Shibuya Scramble trophies are nice and easy, but you are looking at a pretty meaty 40-hour experience with the game. You will probably need a guide, though. Does this look up your alley? Let us know!
428: Shibuya Scramble
A kidnapping on the streets of Shibuya brings together a hot-blooded detective, hard-hitting journalist, former gang leader, the head researcher of a big pharma manufacturer, and a part-timer stuck in cat costume for a series of events each more unexpected and outrageous than the last. Can they--or the city itself--make it through the day?
A Mosaic of Mediums – Unlike traditional visual novels, the narrative is presented with a palette of different mediums, combining text, live action stills, and video sequences.
Non-linear Storytelling – Five Protagonists. 10 Hours. Decisions made in one character’s story can affect the story of another character in unforeseen ways, culminating in a total of over 50 different endings!
Real-Life Shibuya, Tokyo – Engaging text combines with immersive live action stills and video sequences to bring you into the heart of Shibuya’s famous scramble crossing and into the intricate plot that unfolds!

Honourable Mention — Telling Lies
PLATINBLAZE: I bought "Telling Lies" from this current sale. Just completed it. As a fan of Alexandra Shipp, I quite enjoyed typing in the 84 required words for the completion.
Honourable Mention — Until Dawn
SolaceCreed: Two stick out as worth a play if people still haven't:
• Dreamfall Chapters — It is a nice point 'n' click. It is a sequel but it doesn't assume you know the original story and does explain the important bits as it goes.
• Until Dawn — Although it has a lot of tropes and scares you'll be expecting as a horror fan, I really enjoyed it.
Honourable Mention — South Park: The Trick of Truth
Heazie-Man: Dead Age and Dead End Job for less than $3 and each is a solid buy always. The Dead Rising games at any price are a steal. Get them now! If you haven't played South Park: The Stick of Truth by now (insert mean things here).
Honourable Mention — Aqua Kitty — Milk Mine Defender DX
krakenofchaos: Lots of excellent games in the sale, but I bought Aqua Kitty DX, partly for the cool screensaver and avatar that came with it. I'm 41 years old and ashamed of myself.
What do you think of the community picks this week? Would you buy a game for an avatar image like Kraken? Let us know in the comments!
