PlayStation Plus Asian lineup for February 2022 includes fourth beloved game

PlayStation revealed its Plus lineup for most of the world last week — available to download from February 4th. However, the Asian territory is getting one extra beloved game.

The lineup for the West includes Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, Planet Coaster, and UFC 4. However, PlayStation will be adding an extra game for the Asia territories, which is Vanillaware's Dragon's Crown Pro. This follows in the tradition of Asia getting extra games, like in December where there was The Sexy Brutale and Judgment.

Dragon's Crown Pro is the 2018 PS4 rerelease of Vanillaware's RPG beat 'em up that was originally released on PS3 and Vita in 2013. It is pretty great, especially on handheld where the exaggerated characters designs look gigantic, the art design pops, and the dialogue sings. It was released to an 80 on Metacritic, but has a rogue selection of scores — nines and fives — because the insanely meta portrayal of traditional RPG characters isn't to everyone's taste. It tends to be regarded as a bit of a cult hit.

What do you think of this news? Would you swap it in for a different game in the western release? Let us know in the comments!
