PlayStation Plus lineup for February 2022 officially revealed

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
The PlayStation Plus monthly games for February 2022 have been revealed on PlayStation Blog. With some fighting, architectural designing, and shooting ahead of you, it looks like February 1st will be the start of a good month.

Planet Coaster (PS5)

Planet Coaster is the dream for thrill-seekers wanting to sit back and enjoy the peace of designing a theme park. Then, watch as you catastrophically fail to manage the crowds, keep everyone fed, and ensure the g-force on your newest coaster creation doesn't snap heads from spines. There is a perilous amount of detail to go into with this one, as it started life on PC. That means that you might have to be wary of some non-controller friendly controls, but if you can stomach the ride then you are in for a life-sucking sim. This is PS5 only, so you can look forward to much better loading and a lot less chugging.

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure (PS4)

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-shot Adventure is about taking the Borderlands formula and wrapping it up in D&D tropes. It works surprisingly well, so well many call it one of the best DLC expansions ever released. Now, as a standalone ahead of the release of Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, it has room to breathe with its own trophy list and snappy pace. This is a great addition to the service in our book!

EA Sports UFC 4 (PS4)

EA Sports UFC 4 takes you to the octagon to roll around with sweaty, physically competent fighters. You punch, kick, and grapple with frightening realism as you try to KO your opponent or scrape enough rounds in order to win the fight. There is a lot to master here, but a great way into the sport if you are yet to play anything of this ilk.

These games will be downloadable from February 1st, with last months lot — Persona 5 Strikers, Dirt 5 and Deep Rock Galactic — being removed on Monday, January 31st. Are you looking forward to these? Let us know in the comments below!
