Microsoft's potential acquisition of Activision Blizzard has thrown up plenty of questions about the future of Call of Duty on PlayStation. A new report from Bloomberg states the next three games, including a new Warzone, will come to PlayStation consoles.

When Sony commented on the acquisition, it stated that Microsoft would "abide by contractual agreements," suggesting that Activision games would release on PlayStation. Phil Spencer, the Microsoft Gaming CEO, then announced that Microsoft would indeed abide by contracts and that there was a "desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation." A report from the reliable Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier has seemingly qualified what the agreements are.

Four anonymous sources stepped forward for the Bloomberg report. It states that Activision Blizzard "had already committed to make the next few Call of Duty games available on Sony's console." These commitments include 2022's Call of Duty release (probably a Modern Warfare entry), Call of Duty 2023, and an all-new iteration of free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone which would also launch in 2023. However, after these games, it is not clear whether new Call of Duty games will be available on PlayStation platforms.

Is this good or bad news for Sony? Would cutting ties from Call of Duty be a good option? Let us know in the comments!
