Uncharted movie plane scene shown in new trailer

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
The Uncharted movie is coming quite soon. In fact, it arrives on February 18th, the same day as Horizon Forbidden West and three weeks after Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. A new trailer showcases the famous plane scene from Drake's Deception.

Well, we hope you don't have a fear of flying. A new featurette for the Ruben Fleischer-directed Uncharted movie — featuring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg — has a brand new trailer. It features a plane going through the unfortunate reality of having Nathan Drake rumbling about your insides, just like in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Suddenly, there goes all the cargo... and there goes Drake and a few bodyguards. The action scene commences with Drake trying to get back into the plane when being shot at, manhandled, and bumped around a bit.

Plenty of green-screen, CGI, and choppy cutting sets back what is a surprisingly fun adaption of the games, with Chloe Frazer under a bit of threat from the henchwoman of the film. Did you enjoy the trailer? Excited for the film? Let us know in the comments!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
