Ghost of Tsushima has now sold over eight million copies

It's been months since the launch of Ghost of Tsushima, and it doesn't look as though its success will stop anytime soon — especially since Sucker Punch just confirmed that the game has now sold over 8 million copies.

The developers shared the news over on Twitter, with a gif of the characters celebrating. Ghost of Tsushima launched with a fantastic reception from both critics and players alike, with praise being showered on its gorgeous open world, combat, and story, amongst other things. It followed up its successful launch with the addition of multiplayer mode Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, and then with the release of the Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut — we've got a Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut review if you're looking to check that out.
