Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker patch 6.05 makes last two trophies available

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
Final Fantasy XIV launched the new new Endwalker DLC list with three trophies unavailable at launch. However, the last two are now unlockable thanks to patch 6.05 adding Savage versions of the new Pandæmonium raids, along with a host of other tweaks, changes, and additional content.

As always with Final Fantasy XIV updates, you can find the intricate ins and outs of what has been added on The Lodestone website. When Endwalker was released, three trophies were unavailable at launch. Bat Out of Hell was finally rendered unlockable a few weeks ago with the release of the Pandæmonium raid. The major addition for 6.05 is the Savage version of that same Pandæmonium raid, which will allow you to unlock one of two previously time-gated trophies from the Endwalker DLC trophy list.

The first of these should be a piece of cake. As with previous treasure dungeons, there is a chance for a portal to open up after completing a Kumbhiraskin map, one of the eight-player treasure hunts, and you should only need to visit the Excitatron 6000 for this to unlock. However, watch out folks, as the second will be a difficult Chocobo ride. While you can attempt Savage raids with randoms via the Raid Finder, this can be a bit of a crapshoot — seeking out a dedicated static group willing to put in the time to learn and (hopefully) beat all four levels of Pandæmonium: Asphodelos (Savage) would be far better for your sanity.

Also on the 6.05 checklist is the also new currency — Allagan Tomestones of Astronomy. Endgame tomes commonly have a stack cap of 2,000 with only 450 earnable in a week through endgame activities, and it is no different in this patch. You can use them for some of the best vendor gear, so you had better start saving. Alongside a new Excitation 6000 treasure dungeon and fresh Master Recipes allowing crafters to knock out top-tier gear of their own and likely make a fortune on the Market Board in the process, some minor Job changes result in a smattering of minor buffs and one small Reaper nerf. The only other major additions are obviously this fancy new Lunatender minion and the new home decor from the FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest, because obviously.

Happy about the changes? Will you be going hard for Savage Bat Out of Hell? Let us know in the comments and I'm sure you will find a few friends along the way!

Hey, I'm Kes! I'm a Staff Writer, and I've been here since 2021. What do I like? The Outer Wilds is top notch. The Witcher 3 blew my mind over the course of five years completing it. I want Burnout back — I really miss crunching mechanical wonders into walls to the sound of Guns N' Roses. Cool, now we are acquainted, I'll see you around.
