PlayStation State of Play gem Little Devil Inside release date nears

Little Devil Inside's release date nears, having been once more teased for Winter 2022. Despite a lack of news following the game's appearance at the PlayStation State of Play back in 2021, it appears the title is still on track.

Update: Little Devil Inside made a big splash at its PlayStation State of Play 2021 showcase, but little has been seen of the indie gem since. Despite this, another source has confirmed the Little Devil Inside release date nears, with the game still set to release in Winter 2022.

Little Devil Inside's release date was previously teased in our original story by Sony on the PlayStation Instagram account, but eager PS5 and PS4 players have not heard much about the game since then. That is until trustworthy source PlayStation Game Size, which typically scans the backend of the PlayStation Store for its info, posted to Twitter that the game was still set to release in Winter 2022.

This news will come as a relief to PlayStation players looking for the next big indie fix after the massive success that was Stray. While it hasn't been confirmed whether Little Devil Inside will also be hitting PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium upon release, hopefully the game lives up to its trailer and proves to be up to the new standard for indies set in our Stray review.

Little Devil Inside, the exciting upcoming indie title, has finally got a target for release. The colonial-travel inspired adventure seems to be set for a Winter 2022 release, easing in the hard winter with a digital journey.

Over on PlaySation's Instagram (thanks, Eurogamer), a tiny teaser for the upcoming indie titles has been released by PlayStation — those being the incredible-looking Sifu and the aforementioned Little Devil Inside. While the Sloclap-developed Sifu is set for February 22nd, 2022, the newsworthy entry here is that the latter indie is set for Winter 2022, which hopefully implies a November or December release.

That will give the game around seven years of development time, which even gives The Last Guardian a run for its money! Little Devil Inside is still a bit shrouded in secrecy. We know that its odd looks will have us traverse a miniature like map, entering third-person scenarios for combat and crafting. We are seriously excited! How about you?
