Horizon Forbidden West still looks good on PS4

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
PlayStation Studio Guerrilla has remained coy on the PS4 version of Horizon Forbidden West, but it has finally revealed some screenshots from the upcoming PlayStation exclusive. The screens feature jungles and deserts a-plenty.

Horizon Forbidden West is only two months away — it releases in February 2022 — but we haven't yet seen the game running on PS4. However, the open-world post-post-apocalyptic title now has a few images to put to the last-gen version. Posted by Guerrilla on Twitter, the new snaps show off the desert and jungle environments, including what looks like a small village. There is also a Tallneck, which Aloy can climb to scan whatever area she is in. Graphically, Guerrilla has noted that textures won't be as high resolution as on PS5, and a few smaller non-gameplay details will be missing. That being said, it still looks superb in these screens!

What do you think of the new images? Let us know in the comments!
