Saints Row's gameplay trailer is big on action

Saints Row received some love during The Game Awards, with Volition offering up a fresh gameplay trailer that shows plenty of over-the-top Saints-style action.

Explosions, gunfights, car chases, ridiculous costumes, and everything that makes a Saints Row game entertaining all make an appearance. This is definitely a much better trailer than the original reveal, and shows that the series' roots are still intact. Santo Ileso looks to be a great place to hang, and we'll be looking forward to seeing more throughout 2022.

Originally set to launch on February 25th, Saints Row ended up being delayed until August 2022, due to Volition underestimating the impact of the pandemic on its development schedule. This additional time will be used to polish the game, which we're happy to say really does look like an impressive instalment of the beloved franchise.
