PlayStation Now new games for December 2021 officially revealed

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
The PlayStation Now new games for December 2021 have dropped on the PlayStation Blog and will be available from Tuesday, December 7th. It is a solid collection for this month.

Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition

GTA III: The Definitive Edition was previously announced to be coming to us on PlayStation, and now it is here! A myriad of patches to the trilogy have sorted out a few of the remaining issues of this legendary PS2-era open-world game from Rockstar, making PlayStation Now the perfect place to try it out. Will you be roaming around Liberty City?

Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster

Final Fantasy X HD Remaster and X-2 HD Remaster are a continued push for Final Fantasy on PlayStation Now each month. These more modern anime-inspired titles are favourited for their stories and characters, with the gameplay pushing towards a noticeably different Conditional Turn-Based Battle system. The set cameras can be a turn-off, but let the rest of this incredibly scored JRPG take you along for a journey.

John Wick Hex

John Wick Hex is developed by Mike Bithell, the guy who brought you indie classics like Thomas Was Alone and Volume. This is an action strategy title that acts as a prequel for the action film franchise. The isometric view is perfect for capturing the savage action of Keanu Reeves. It received good reviews, if not spectacular, which might mean that you are in for a good time and can just dip your toes if you aren't sure.

Spitlings

Spitlings has a trailer that we don't understand. Are these Goomba-like squared actually spitting at one another? Disgusting... but also a good laugh? It's a four-player co-op game that accentuates teamwork as you try and destroy bubbles floating on the level. One failure and you all die, though, so keep your wits about you!

How are we feeling about the games this month? Let us know in the comments!
