Jump Force to be delisted from PlayStation Store, servers also set to close

By Sean Carey,
Bandai Namco has announced its fighting game, Jump Force, will be delisted from the PlayStation Store next year and that its servers will also be shut down.

According to a post over on Bandai Namco's website, Jump Force and all of its DLC packs will be removed from digital storefronts, such as the PlayStation store, on February 7th, 2022. The publisher also notes that the game's servers will also close on August 24th, 2022, with the following services being affected:
  • Logging into the multiplayer lobby
  • Online events
  • Clan functions
  • Viewing the Notice Board
  • Viewing the leaderboards
  • Accepting Rewards from the Reward Counter
  • In-game Store
  • Premium Shop
  • Online Ranked Match
Bandai Namco says you'll still be able to access offline content, including any purchased DLC packs, and online battles with the exception of Ranked battles.

You will still be able to access offline content, including DLC packs, and online battles (except for ranked matches). Jump Force has six trophies that require an online connection, but from what we can tell, it appears that only a couple of these will be affected by the server closure (The Battle Begins, and the platinum trophy, Jump Force).

Jump Force is also available physically, so if you don't pick this one up before its delisting, you'll likely still be able to find it elsewhere.

Jump Force will be delisted from digital storefronts on February 7th, 2022, and its servers are due to close on August 24th, 2022.
