Gotham Knights gets brand new Court of Owls trailer at DC Fandome

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
A new trailer for Gotham Knights dropped at DC FanDome this weekend. It introduces the Court of Owls, a shadowy, Illuminati-like group that might be responsible for the death of Batman. One of a plethora of heroes investigates.

The story trailer above is all about the Court of Owls, a "secret society made up of Gotham City’s wealthiest families." The Penguin is in there, too. It seems like the flappy gent is equally keen on taking down the mysterious Court. There are some creepy traps in big mansions and plenty of allusions to the death of Batman. Gotham looks fabulously gothic here, making us wonder if it is possible Antoni Gaudí has been working for the development team.

WB Montréal is responsible for creating Gotham Knights, after previously making prequel Arkham Origins. Gotham Knights is upping the ante with a large open world, RPG systems, and multiple playable characters in the form of Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin. It is a single-player game with an optional two-player co-op and it is probably worth noting that it doesn't appear to be a continuation of the Arkham series.

What do you think of the trailer? How many owls are too many owls? And one versus one, bat vs. owl, who would win? These are the important questions that need answers. Comment now, please.
