PlayStation Now games for October include The Last of Us: Part II — report

By Kes Eylers-Stephenson,
The October 2021 PlayStation Now additions appear to have been leaked after the “Recently Added” tab was updated prematurely. If correct, this would mean Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, The Last of Us: Part II, Fallout 76, and more could be coming to the service.

The news as found on Reddit by PushSquare, though the original source here is ResetEra. The image shows that, on the UK service-front, it appears that The Last of Us: Part II and Fallout 76 will be headlining the service. The latter is under the remit of Bethesda, who is owned by Microsoft, so it would have been interesting to see how those negotiations unfolded after Dishonored 2 was removed from the service. On the other hand, the live-service Fallout thrives on player count, so getting as many gamers through the door will be paramount to success.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered was already confirmed for this month, giving the report a bit more validity. In addition, Desperadoes III is apparently making its way onto the service alongside Yet Another Zombie Defense HD. Quite the collection of games are brewing! The PS Now official update is expected in the early stages of this week.

Are you a PS Now user? How do you find the service? I finally started using it recently, and found the service great for everything you could download… if only those PS3 titles would work properly. Roll out your live comment down below!
